What started out as an exhibition of old photographs in 2012 , has now progressed to include a book – Ballinskelligs Remembered – full of peoples memories from time gone by , compiled by a long term visitor to the area (Finbar Bracken) and produced by Coiste Forbartha na Sceilge the local development group for Ballinskelligs.
The coming year will see the production of a DVD containing a large collection of images from the book , the exhibition and more.. and who knows a follow on book with contributions from people that didn’t make the first book. My thanks to everyone who committed their thoughts to print either in prose, verse or by photographic means, without such commitment there would not be this book.
