Ballinskelligs Community Hall (Halla Pobail) is in the village of Dungeagan, off the main R566 road. It is central to the Ballinskelligs community with lots of activities available, is the home to the local development group and has a large hall with a stage for concerts and dances.

Ballinskelligs Community Centre, Day Room, and launderette is home to many groups and organizations in our community.
Ballinskelligs Community Care looks after our senior citizens by providing an activity, a meal, and hairdressing every Thursday. On every second Monday evening, we have a game of bingo or cards (if preferred) followed by a supper. A chiropodist attends every 6 weeks, while the hairdresser and beautician are here once a week.
A local lomi lomi masseuse and a homeopath are available by appointment. We host nformative guest speakers, and encourage anyone to come and join us on the day to help out, sing a song or play some music.
We provide office facilities, faxing, internet access, photocopying, laminating, etc, as well as providing room and hall rental to educational organizations, and to local groups. Classes that have run at the centre to date are: Irish language, Ciorcal Comhrá, A Carers’course, Health & Safety, Cookery, Organic Gardening, Computers, Set Dancing, Keep Fit, Salsa and line dancing. Local groups such as the Defibrillator, Drama, Youth Club, Tourism, BEAG, Women’s Group, Save the Castle, Ballinskelligs Inshore Rescue and our local school etc make use of our modern facilities making this a real community gathering spot, right in the heart of Dungaegan.
Coiste Forbartha na Sceilge is the local development group and they umbrella all of these groups and activities. It is with a brilliant team comprised of FAS, CSP, and RSS staff and of course all our volunteers that we are able to serve our community and we extend a mile buiochas do gach duine a thabhairt cabhair duinn.
